Whether the action or position is right or wrong, capitalist or communist, religious or irreligious, brave or cowardly, rational or irrational, it matters not to liberals. It's no accident that the Libs line up on the side of "gimme." Believing is easier than thinking.

You are so right about the educational system. As the twig is bent, so grows the tree. And a good place to concentrate is in the teacher education system, as Bill Ayers knows only too well.

@Trestin -- This country's educational decisions are being made more and more at the federal level, and that needs to be reversed, pronto. Teachers that I speak to insist that more federalization that will raise standards for kids across the country. That's naive, I think. It's just as likely--or more likely--that the pressure will be on wholesale fraud like we've seen by teachers in Atlanta, Georgia.Quite Rightlyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06454908849040454661noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5060865309044072246.post-78233561796853147652011-10-22T18:00:10.390-04:002011-10-22T18:00:10.390-04:00This is why we are in decline. This is why we are in decline.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5060865309044072246.post-90831780287191330042011-10-22T13:54:48.363-04:002011-10-22T13:54:48.363-04:00What's even more depressing to me is how many ...What's even more depressing to me is how many of my liberal friends who will rail against "moving jobs overseas" will read this and dogmatically refuse to see ANY problem.

While the 2012 election is undoubtedly a big deal that conservatives need to turn out for IN DROVES...I'm skeptical that we'll make much long-term progress unless we get HEAVILY involved in the education process in America. What good is having all the right answers in a republic, if the majority of the voters are systematically herded into ignorance?Justinhttp://www.rssronaldreagan.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.com
