Might Obama's health care plan be a good thing? If you have any lingering doubts about Obama's health care program, watch this video. You'll never have doubts again:
Being a dual citizen, American and Canadian, I have had much experience with the American system and much experience with the Canadian system. If you want to do an evaluation, then do so. If you want to do some low comedy do so. But if you mix the two up then this blog becomes a joke. I was told by a couple of friends you run a decent political blog. Perhaps you do, but on the health care you run a joke. Canadians always remind me that they burned the "Yankee" white house in 1812 and some are about ready to do it again if the "less than educated Yankees" jokingly belittle Canada. I have tried to explain it really is only an education problem but unfortunately they don't see it that way.
Thanks for your comment. Feedback helps keep me on my toes. I hope to respond in a post soon.
For now though, I think it's only fair to tell you that the video's message is worse than you think. You might want to tell your friends that Steven Crowder, the political commentator and "low" comedian who produced and appears in the video as the interviewer, is not quite the "less than educated Yankee" that you seem to think; in fact, he was raised in Montreal, Quebec, and is on record as reporting that his own family members traveled from Montreal to the U.S. for MRIs.
