Feeling Hot? Here's Something That Will Chill You

A special post for our dear Angel at WomanHonorThyself, who has asked readers for suggestions on taking a break from the NYC heat wave -- and for anyone else who needs a little chillin'.

See if these photos don't cool you down a bit . .  .

And, oh yeah. . . .

  3. @Trestin - It's lovely and quiet when the snow is deep. I do hope you see home before the snow flies!

@Woman - About 4 minutes on the Virginia patio would be perfect just now. Instead, come December, we'll have the white stuff for about 4 months!

  4. Brrrr! I hate the cold! But that reminds me I need to buy firewood for this winter. It's been so hot I had forgotten it won't always be! Ha!

  5. @Tina - Stacking firewood is no task for a 99 degree day! It's right up there with knitting sweaters in July. Arghh.
