Me too. Can't stop the quivering in my abdomen that comes from trying to hold back my emotional joy-okay tears. Incidentally, I'm seeing more signs of the come back to the tradition of Christmas through out this season. Merchants by the score are proclaiming " Merry Christmas" in stead of the PC version of "Happy holidays." The people need the hope and joy of Christmas. Watched the tree trimming/lighting ceremony in DC last night on CSPAN, hosted by Wyoming's John Borasso-lots of mention of Jesus and the Wyoming all city children's choir sang many traditional Carols- was great. Thanks Merry Christmas Mare.
This gave me chills and brought happy tears to my eyes. Thank you so much for sharing!
ReplyDeleteMajor chills and tears for me this morning, and I've seen this before! Thanks much for sharing! Hallelujah!

ReplyDeleteChristmas obviously still resides in people's hearts, and, dpetty, you are so right: "The people do need the hope and joy of Christmas."
I am thrilled that we are reclaiming our right to celebrate.
The Christmas Spirit lives on.
