On Monday in the New York State Senate chambers, the majority was changed from Democrat to Republican when two dissident Democrat senators joined with 30 Republican senators to take over control of the Senate. Thomas Golisano, billionaire businessman and one of many who are fleeing New York State's increasing income-tax burden by changing their residences to other states, took credit for conspiring with a small group of senators to pull off the coup.Within hours, the Senate got a new majority leader and temporary president.
Democrats are fuming, legal action is threatened, and now, via Gathering of Eagles: NY comes this announcement:
