Uighur Update: How Sweet It Is

Courtesy the NY Times comes this photo of Khaleel Mamut, left, and Salahidin Abdulahat, two of the recently released Uighur terrorists, strolling along a Bermuda beach. Nice view, eh? To see a New York Times slide show of these former terrorist training campers living the good life, click here.

The cost to you? No big deal: just about $2 million per Uighur.

Let's see, if you earned $20 per hour, and worked 40 hours per week, 52 weeks per year, with no vacation or sick days, and never spent any of that money on food, clothing, rent, medications, or anything else, you could set one of these Uighurs up in a pretty pink cottage on a beautiful beach in only (calculate, calculate) a little over 48 years, that is, from the time you entered the work force at 18 until you retired at the age of 66.

All so you could hear them say: "We've changed our minds about the U.S."

Gee.

Something tells me we won't be seeing that expenditure put to a referendum.
