Your heart broke when you heard that 13-year-old Cody Alicea, a California boy from a military family, was required by Denair Middle School officials to remove his American flag from the bicycle he rides to school each morning.
Heart healing time: Public outrage caused the school principal to do a flip-flop and permit this American boy to display his American flag on the grounds of his American school, which is funded by American taxpayers and protected by American police and civil authorities in a country defended by American military.
Yesterday morning, Nov. 15, 2010, Cody rode his bike to school with his flag, followed by hundreds of community members bearing American flags:

Excellent Post, Quite Rightly!! The outcry which came from citizens from across America and those troops serving abroad in response to Cody's First Amendment rights being violated was truly amazing!! God Bless America!
